Preventative Maintenance

provide regular health checks on all our supported databases.
Typically these take place on monthly (Oracle databases and
applications) and bi-monthly (SQLServer) intervals. These health
checks can take place on site or remotely as required. The findings
and recommendations are fully documented and made available to
clients via email and through the TeamDBA extranet.

Remote Database Log Storage
MS SQLServer and Oracle
Database generate Transaction Logs and Archived ReDo Logs respectively which are
critical for the restoration and recovery of mission critical databases. These
Logs are held on the database server and are backed up as part of the nightly
backup process.
The TeamDBA Service

automates the copying of MS SQL Transaction Logs and Oracle Archived Redo logs
to secure offsite storage, which utilising the said logs dramatically reduces
