Site Audit

TeamDBA conduct a site audit for all our support customers. This allows our engineers to pinpoint immediately any performance issues and to suggest environment recommendations. The site audit is fully documented and forms the basis for our change control documentation.

 

Help Desk

TeamDBA provide a full support facility to all of our customers via telephone or email. TeamDBA operate a call logging system which automatically escalates calls to the relevant engineers. TeamDBA guarantee all clients a four hour response time.

 

Real Time Remote Database Monitoring

A real time monitoring service SENTINEL is available to clients who require prompt identification and resolution of any issues arising on their mission critical database or database server.

Preventative Maintenance

TeamDBA provide regular health checks on all our supported databases. Typically these take place on  monthly (Oracle databases and applications) and bi-monthly (SQLServer) intervals. These health checks can take place on site or remotely as required. The findings  and recommendations are fully documented and made available to clients via email and through the TeamDBA extranet.

 

Database Recovery Test

With their service offering datacheck, TeamDBA provide a suite of database recovery and validation services.  TeamDBA specifically designed this service to verify data recovery and the database rebuild capability from your backup media.

Remote Database Log Storage

MS SQLServer and Oracle Database generate Transaction Logs and Archived ReDo Logs respectively which are critical for the restoration and recovery of mission critical databases. These Logs are held on the database server and are backed up as part of the nightly backup process.

The TeamDBA Service LogVault automates the copying of MS SQL Transaction Logs and Oracle Archived Redo logs to secure offsite storage, which utilising the said logs dramatically reduces the data loss window in the case of database server loss.
